About Us
CoPower was founded in 1995 for the purpose of providing employers with assistance for their administrative benefits needs. The company started with CoPower Administrators, a Third Party Administrator for Delta Dental and VSP, and most recently, Ameritas. The company was created primarily as a specialized purchasing pool for small (5–99 lives) and large (50–99 lives) group employers to band together to provide large group-type benefits for their employees, and to assist the small employers in the administrative aspects of overseeing their benefits. Since their inception in 1995, CoPower Administrators has grown to work with more than 4,200 employer groups and more than 100,000 of their employees and family members.
CoPower recently increased their service offering by adding the CoPower
Financial division, which provides Health Savings Account (HSA)
and flexible benefits administration through our FlexOptions
plan. FlexOptions is designed to provide employers with a flexible
and fringe benefits product that has five adaptable components.
Through FlexOptions, you can provide a Premium Only Plan (POP), Health Savings Accounts (HSA),
Health Flexible Spending Accounts (HFSA), Limited Health Flexible Spending Accounts (LHFSA), and Dependent Care Assistance Program (DCAP) to maximize tax and health plan premium savings
for employers and employees alike.
