Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is CoPower?
CoPower is a Third Party Administrator for Delta
Dental, and VSP. CoPower was created to act as a specialized purchasing
pool and benefit administrator for small employers. The development
of these pools provided the benefits of large group plans
to employees who would have otherwise not been eligible.
2. How do CoPower and LISI
work together?
LISI is responsible for the sale and underwriting of the CoPower
product, while CoPower is responsible for billing CoPower
groups sold through LISI and providing carriers a list of
eligible, enrolled employees.
3. When are premium payments
due and when is a late fee applied?
Premium payments are due on the last weekday of the month
prior to coverage. There is a $20 late fee if the payment
is not received by the 4th of the covered month or if the
balance due is not paid in full.

to send a payment?
Checks should be made payable to “CoPower” and sent to:

7. What happens when a

A group must maintain a minimum of 5 enrollees to keep a group
active. If a group falls below 5 enrollees, they are given
3 months to bring up their numbers or they risk cancellation.
8. Is there another plan
a group can go on when they cannot come up with 5 enrollees

eligible employees should come on to the plan following the
completion of their eligibility period (if applicable). All
inquiries concerning the late enrollees should be sent directly
to a CoPower GSR.

employee did not enroll his/her dependents when the employee
