1. What is CoPower?
CoPower is a Third Party Administrator for Delta
Dental, and VSP. CoPower was created to act as a specialized purchasing
pool and benefit administrator for small employers. The development
of these pools provided the benefits of large group plans
to employees who would have otherwise not been eligible.
2. When are premium payments due and
when is a late fee applied?
Premium payments are due on the first day of the month of coverage. There is a $20 late fee if the payment
is not received by the first of the covered month or if the
balance due is not paid in full.
3. What is the address to send a payment?

4. Where is the CoPower ID number located
on the invoice?
The CoPower ID number is located in upper right hand corner
of the invoice.
Employees can contact the representatives below if they
have a question about their plan.
5. Is there Open Enrollment?
Most of the CoPower plans do not offer Open Enrollment. All
eligible employees should come on to the plan following the
completion of their eligibility period (if applicable). All
inquiries concerning the late enrollees should be sent directly
to a CoPower GSR.
6. What happens if an employee
did not enroll his/her dependents when the employee first
enrolled but now wants the dependents enrolled? Can they come
on at Open Enrollment?
Late enrollees must come on to the plan when they are eligible.
All inquiries concerning the late enrollee issues should be
sent directly to a CoPower GSR.
7. What is the difference between Cal-COBRA and
Federal COBRA?
