Overview.
Through CoPower, you can offer your employees
Group Life Plus, a special policy underwritten by Transamerica
Assurance Company (TAC). It provides eligible employees up
to $50,000 guaranteed issue of term life insurance. Each class
of employee may also be eligible for up to $250,000 of coverage
with a simplified issue plan by answering only five medical
questions - no medical exam required.
TAC will also allow employees diagnosed with a terminal illness
to draw up to 50 percent of the face amount of the policy,
with the balance paid to the beneficiary following the death
of the insured. Premiums will also be waived for each employee
and eligible dependents if he/she becomes disabled for at
least six consecutive months.
