Jeff Grocky is Vice President Marketing for CoPower. He has a history of bringing technology and creativity together to lead highly successful marketing campaigns and data-driven strategies. He excels at keeping companies on brand and bringing their stories to life in an authentic way that resonates with targeted audiences. He builds robust inbound marketing programs that turbocharge the sales pipeline. Jeff is skilled at SEO, Ecommerce/Online Sales Optimization, Digital Advertising, Web Analytics, Social Media marketing, iOS Development, Web Development, Graphic Design, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM). Previously, Jeff was the Marketing Director for Input 1 in Woodland Hills, CA, a leading provider of P&C billing & payments software and services. Using his business acumen, Jeff worked with investment banking firm, The Sage Group, in preparing several companies for sale. Jeff brings his entrepreneurial spirit as cofounder of Switch (joinswitch.com), a fine jewelry subscription service and founder of Lovtap.com, a non-profit micro-donation app. He is a graduate of Michigan State University. He has been active with The Bay Foundation. Jeff lives with his wife in Pasadena and has a passion for golf, travel and the great outdoors.


 

Kevin Timone

Kevin Timone was the Chief Sales Officer of Orange, California-based CHOICE Administrators, the nation’s leader in developing and administering group employee-choice health insurance exchanges. His responsibilities included all new sales, retention and group underwriting for America’s longest-standing small group private exchange, CaliforniaChoice, as well as Choice Builder, One of the nation’s first ancillary benefits exchange. Timone is active in state and national trade organizations, and he generously donates time and funds in support of local and national charities. Kevin serves as board President of nonprofit Providence Speech and Hearing. He and his wife Alyssa, and daughters Madison and Taylor reside in Granite Bay and are active participants in the community. They spend their weekends enjoying the outdoors and watching the girls play sports!


 

Dan Frey

Dan has been active in the health insurance industry for more than 30 years. He began his career in New York with New York Life Insurance Company. Upon relocation to California, Dan provided executive leadership to an Orange County-based Third Party Administrator for 20 years. During that time, he developed his relationship skills with carriers, brokers and general agencies, as well as specialty and support companies. Dan’s professional experience includes both operations and sales, and spans various market segments. These include Individual, Small Group, Mid Market and Large Group, with life, health and disability coverages. Dan is a licensed broker, and has held sales positions with PacAdvantage, a small group exchange, and United Healthcare, where he sold large groups with thousands of members. Dan has also provided consulting services to public exchanges and Third Party Administrators. In his current role as CoPower’s General Manager, Dan will work to optimize the technical and human resources of the company in order to provide valuable and efficient products and services to its customers. Dan will work closely with CoPower’s sales staff to ensure that the company continually has the pulse of its broker partners, and its employer and member customer base.


 

Chad Myers

Chad Myers serves as the Director of IT Development for CoPower, where he is responsible for leading our software development team. He is reshaping our entire software development process while bringing a new focus on delivering value to our customers. Chad has been leading development teams and guiding technology efforts at companies for over 25 years in various fields ranging from finance to streaming media. Over the years he has worked to transform many organizations by accelerating the delivery of tools to both employees and customers. In 2008 he was able to bring national attention to Operation Homefront, a nonprofit serving the families of deployed service members, by developing the Webby Award winning website CinCHouse.com. Most recently Chad had been working in the cyber security realm by leading the Vulnerability Scanning team for BeyondTrust Software, a leader in field of both vulnerability and privileged access management.


 

Don Ebuen

Don’s journey in healthcare began with Blue Cross of California in 1997. He started off in Data Acquisition and quickly moved to the Call Center as a Client Service Associate. He continued to grow within the company as it became WellPoint and eventually Anthem Blue Cross. Don held roles in Training and Development, Process Improvement, and Operations (Manager of Billing and Reconcilement and Vendor Manager). Don was a part of game changing projects including Tonik, Blue Cross’ signature plan targeting active young adults and a paperless environment with 3 imaging applications - Solution Suite, Ultera, and Business Process Management (BPM). He was involved in developing the workflows for Individual, Small Group, Large Group, and Sales Support; implementing the Manual Underwriting System for all Anthem states; and transitioning to the IUS system across all Anthem states. After 18 years at Anthem, Don was fortunate to extend his healthcare career at Molina Healthcare as the Director of Enrollment for California, Utah, and Washington. He became the Director of Training and Development where he started the Enrollment Team’s Training and Knowledge Management Department.
