Chiropractic and acupuncture benefits have become increasingly popular as a tool to attract and retain employees. Fortunately, Landmark Healthplan is available through CoPower.
Here are some things to remember about Landmark’s chiropractic/acupuncture plans:
- Landmark plans through Copower are available to employees who live or work in California and are enrolled in the group’s medical plan. Landmark coverage is not available for those living or working outside California. Out-of-network benefits are excluded except for emergencies
- Employees can still enroll in the Landmark plan even if they have waived the group’s medical plan due to having coverage through a spouse’s plan or a government program. (Have the eligible employee send in a copy of the subscriber's medical ID card as proof of coverage with their enrollment application)
- The minimum employer contribution is 50% for employer-sponsored plans
- There are no administrative fees
