Employees have increasingly expressed concerns with the demands on their vision from time spent in front of computer screens. They have asked for support to address the resulting fatigue.

CoPower is here to help.

We have a creative way to address the well documented negative effects of excessive screentime on vision health. CoPower’s VSP portfolio includes LightCare in every single vision plan -- available on a standalone basis or as part of the CoPower ONE bundled product.

Why vision health matters

A recent survey by XP Health, revealed:

  • Approximately 50% of employed adults have seen increased work-related screentime over the past three years, especially related to remote work (58% of respondents).
  • 41% of respondents voiced concerns regarding increased screentime due to remote work.
  • Over half of remote workers (57%) say their eyes feel tired after logging off for the day.
  • Over 4 in 5 (83%) say they need a break during the day to rest their eyes and avoid further issues like headaches, eye irritation, or blurred vision. This is significantly more than their in-office counterparts (64%).
  • Nearly 3 in 10 remote workers (29%) say they have been less productive than they would like because their eyes are bothering them while working.
